Hotel Antonios Olympia/Greece

Hotel is located nearby the town, but reaching the center of the town takes just 7 or 8 minutes on foot because of smallness of it.

Hotel Antonios is a four starred hotel in Olympia. There is a rumor going round that there is a five starred hotel in Olympia, but I couldn't believe it. Because Olympia is really small town to manage a five starred hotel and also even its four starred hotel standards not like just as in Turkey. There are a lot of lacks.

I stayed there as a B&B guest during a week. Breakfasts were not good, it has open buffet service in the morning but it was very limited one.

Greece #1

After a short flying with Pegasus Airlines, which is the airline that only have a direct flight to Athens, we reached Venizelos Airport.

Çok da uzun olmayan ve deniz manzarası ağılıklı hatta hep deniz ve adalardan oluşan uçuştan sonra Atina Venizelos Havalimanı'na ulaştık. Sanırım havalimanının adı daha uzun bişeydi ama aklımda sadece Venizelos kısmı kalmış. O ismi  de okuduğum bi kitaptan hatırlıyorum galiba :D

Another Long Way

But this time more than Eskisehir-Izmir. 

Tomorrow I will be set off a long way which will end in Olympia. Ofcourse I will have breaks in Izmir to packing and Athens. Olympia is a small town, which's population around 11.000. I am not hopefull for Olympia, but I am really excited about Athens. :)

Yarın uzun bir yol daha beni bekliyor. Ömrümün yollarda geçtiği hissine kapılıyorum bazen; ama bundan şikayetçi olduğum söylenemez tabi :D Tek sorun gidilecek yere uygun kıyafet seçip bavulu minimumda tutabilmek. Son zamanlarda bundan nefret eder duruma geldim. Ama bu sefer yaz okulunun yanı sıra tatil amacı da var, daha eğlenceli olur diye ummaktayım.
Araştırdığım kadarıyla Olimpiya oldukça küçük bir kent, ama önemini tarihten alıyor ve ilk Olimpiyat Oyunlarının oynandığı yer olarak biliniyor. Şehrin resimlerine de baktım tabi ki bilinçli bir turist olarak ama pek umut verici olmadılar. Bi Efes değil kendileri. :D Neyse gidip görmeden kesin yargılara varmasam iyi olacak gibi. Umarım bizi, gördüklerimden fazlası bekliyordur. :)
Neyse ki dönüşten önce Atina'da geçirilecek bir gün var, o bütün haftaya bedel olabilir. Hem orda ders, sunum vs. de yok. :D
