What We Have Enjoyed in Balkans?

Meals

The first meal that we tasted in Balkans was "Cevapi" with original letters "Ćevapčići". It is really worth to try and one of the best things in the Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Before I have been there, I serached some where to eat this dish and I met "Ćevabdžinica
Želzo" in Sarajevo. This restaurant is also related with a fooball team with the same name. Many photos of the football team adorn the walls. Restaurant has a warm athmosphere and Cevapi is a kind of fast food in Balkans.

It comprises 6 piece of meatball inside of a half loaf of bread and serve with some onion, "kajmak"/cream, and as a beverage; they call yoghurt but it more liquid than yoghurt, but not as liquid as "ayran". But it is tasty and good with the Cevapi.

Story of Little Prince had been loving by many people from around the world. Inspire their childhood even their grown daily life. I guess I'm one of them. When I feel hopeless or in a bad mood myself, I read this book again. :)

Intensive midterm week is a perfect time for me to make this paper toys to avoid studying my exams. :D

Old Town of Dubrovnik/Croatia

It is not an ordinary old town, it is still alive.

The most impressive side of the town is hosting local people, while it seems to be a touristic attraction. Other old cities that I have seen before are generally forsaken ruins. But this one is really different. You should see and feel the spirit of the city.

Yes, I think natural beauty of the Dubrovnik which I mentioned before, is a valid reason to visit Dubrovnik, but old town is much more than you expect.

Ama Dubrovnik korunmuş doğası ve tarihi şehriyle, şimdiye kadar favorim olan iki şehri de

 (Münih - Brugge) solladı. 

Demiyorum ki "dünya üzerindeki en güzel yerdir"; ama her türlü yarışır.

  Bu konuda Portofino beni heyecanlandırmakta. Tarihi özelliğiyle Vatikan'ı da ekleyebiliriz listeye. Ha bi de Tayland adaları vardı, şimdi bi de Cape Town ve Ekvador'daki Galapagos 

adalarını falan da unutmamak lazım. :)

 "Ars longa vita brevis" aforizmasını "Itinera longa vita brevis" yapabiliriz gönül rahatlığıyla bence.

Ama siz yine de Dubrovnik'e mutlaka gidin. :D

Mostar/Bosnia and Herzegovina

"Tek bir köprüyü görmek için bi şehre gidilir mi hiç?" demeyin. Mostar'da çok daha fazlası var. :)

Not only for famous Mostar Bridge,

 you should also visit this city for its old town and history. 

Sarajevo/Bosnia and Herzegovina

We started our journey with flight from İstanbul Atatürk International Airport to Sarajevo International Airport. When we arrived to Sarajevo, firstly we settled our hotel which's name is Hotel Italia. Hotel is a little bit far away from old town center. (Baščaršija)
But it was the good experience walking towards city center while snowing. :)

İstanbul'daki varlığımızın asıl sebebinin Bosna Hersek'e gitmek olduğunu çoktan unutup kendimizi İstanbul'un akışına bırakmıştık ki gerçekle yüzleşip bavulları bir kez daha topladık.
 Sağlam bir kahvaltıdan sonra Nero'da geçirilecek güzel vakit ve Türk Hava Yolları'nın uçuş sırasında ikram ettiği sandwichlerin hayaliyle havaalanına doğru yola koyulduk.

Saraybosna'da başlayan bir haftada dört mevsim yaşadığımız gezimizin ilk mevsimi kıştı. Saraybosna, İzmir'de hasret kaldığımız kar taneleriyle karşıladı bizi.

Bir Buluşma ve Aktarma Merkezi Olarak İstanbul

We met in Istanbul with my friend as our starting point of our Balkan tour and stayed 2 days long.

Whenever I visit Istanbul, I stayed different parts in Istanbul. This time my region was Besiktas and its neigbourhood. And ofcourse I fall in love Istanbul again just as a tourist.

Yurtdışına İstanbul'dan çıkıyorsan ve bu yolculuktan bir kaç gün önce İstanbul'a gelmez, onu bi ucundan keşfetmezsen gerçekten çok ayıp olur.
